Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY OTHER RETRACTABLE FASTBACK CONTROL MODULE DTCs Clear the DTC for the retractable fastback control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [RETRACTABLE FASTBACK CONTROL MODULE] ). Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 30 s or more. Retrieve the retractable fastback control module DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [RETRACTABLE FASTBACK CONTROL MODULE] ). Is the DTCs U3000:44/U3000:45/U3000:49 displayed?	Yes	Replace the retractable fastback control module, then go to the next step. (See RETRACTABLE FASTBACK CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [RETRACTABLE FASTBACK CONTROL MODULE] ).
2		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
