DTC U0415:86 (VCM (US)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Check sum error received from DSC HU/CM
Detection condition
  • The vehicle control module (VCM) detects that the vehicle control module (VCM) received a check sum error from the DSC HU/CM for 10 s.
Fail-safe (See DTC TABLE (VCM (US)) .)
Possible cause
  • DSC HU/CM malfunction
  • Vehicle control module (VCM) malfunction (built into body control module (BCM))
