Blow-By Heater Inspection
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION )
- Disconnect the blow-by heater connector. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Measure the resistance between the blow-by heater terminals A and B.
- If not as specified, replace the blow-by heater. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
)
Blow-by heater resistance
4.5-7.5 ohms [normal temperature]
