Illumination Light Inspection
NOTE:
- The illumination light is built into the AUTO HOLD switch. If there is any malfunction, replace the electric parking brake switch.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the electric parking brake switch. (See ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Apply battery positive voltage to electric parking brake switch terminal I, and connect terminal J to ground.
- Verify that the illumination light turns on.
- If there is any malfunction, replace the electric parking brake switch.
