Visual Inspection
- Verify if the ground plate needs to be disconnected and if it does, disconnect it. (See GROUND PLATE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the integrated starter generator (ISG). (See INTEGRATED STARTER GENERATOR (ISG) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [VIN 7/VIN L] .)
- Visually inspect the integrated starter generator (ISG) for the following:
- Integrated starter generator (ISG) damage
- Integrated starter generator (ISG) connector damage or corrosion
- If there is any malfunction, replace the integrated starter generator (ISG). (See INTEGRATED STARTER GENERATOR (ISG) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [VIN 7/VIN L] .)
