Power Window Sub Switch Removal/Installation: Rear

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
  2. Affix the protective tape to the position shown in the figure to prevent scratches and damage.

  3. Using a remover tool, remove the tab shown in the figure.

  4. Using a remover tool, remove the tabs shown in the figure.

  5. Move the power window sub switch component in the direction of the arrow and detach the guide.

  6. Disconnect the connector.

  7. Remove the power window sub switch component from the rear door trim.
  8. Using a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver, move the power window sub switch cover end in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, and detach the tab while moving the power window sub switch in the direction of arrow (2).

  9. Detach the tabs in the same manner as Step 8.

  10. Remove the power window sub switch from the power window sub switch cover.
  11. Install in the reverse order of removal.
