Hazard Warning Switch Inspection

NOTE:
- The integrity of the hazard warning switch cannot be determined from a single part. When inspecting the hazard warning switch, perform the following procedure.
- Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
- Perform the DTC inspection for the dash electrical supply unit. (See DTC INSPECTION
.)
- If DTCs are detected, repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [DASH-ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT (US)] .)
- If DTCs are not detected, go to the next step.
- Using the M-MDS, display the HZRD_SW PID for the climate control unit. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION
.)
Test condition Data contents (HZRD_SW) Hazard warning switch is pressed On Except above Off - If not within the specification, replace the climate control unit.
