High-Mount Brake Light Inspection

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
- Remove High-mount brake light. (See HIGH-MOUNT BRAKE LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Apply battery positive voltage to high-mount brake light terminal B, and connect the ground to terminal A.
- Verify that the high-mount brake light turns on.
- If the high-mount brake light does not turn on, replace the high-mount brake light. (See HIGH-MOUNT BRAKE LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
