Resistance inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Disconnect the engine oil temperature sensor/engine oil pressure sensor connector. (See ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR/ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Measure the resistance between engine oil temperature sensor/engine oil pressure sensor terminals E and C.
