Notification And Warning Speaker Removal/Installation: Front

  1. Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).
  2. Open the front driver-side door.
  3. Switch the ignition off.
  4. Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)] .)
  5. Remove the lower column cover. (See COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  6. Remove the screws.

  7. Remove the notification and warning speaker (front) from the lower column cover.
  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
