Continuity Inspection
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)] .)
- Disconnect the fuel pump unit connector. (See FUEL PUMP UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Inspect for continuity at the following terminals:
- fuel pump unit terminal A-fuel pump unit terminal D.
- fuel pump unit terminal D-fuel pump unit terminal E.
- fuel pump unit terminal E-fuel pump unit terminal A.
- If there is no continuity, replace the fuel pump unit. (See FUEL PUMP UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
