Emergency System Shutdown Method
- When the wheels are rotated using a chassis dynamometer or the like and an inspection is performed, if the electronically controlled brake unit detects a malfunction in the vehicle speed signal, the engine may not be able to be stopped by the ignition switch. If the engine cannot be stopped by the ignition switch, perform an emergency stop using the following procedure.
- Press and hold the power switch for approx. 3 s or more, or press it three or more times within approx. 1.5 s.
- The engine shuts down. (Ignition switch is ACC)
- Press the power switch to switch the ignition switch OFF.
