Vehicle With Emergency Call System

B1207-86: (BCM) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE (VEHICLE WITH EMERGENCY CALL SYSTEM)

System malfunction location Error signal received from emergency call unit/telematics communication unit
Detection condition
  • The door-electrical supply unit (driver's side) receives the error signals from the emergency call unit/telematics communication unit.
Fail-safe
  • Not applicable
Possible cause
  1. DTCs are stored in the emergency call unit/telematics communication unit. (See DTC TABLE [TCU] .)
  2. Malfunction in wiring harness (including connector/terminal) between emergency call unit/telematics communication unit and door-electrical supply unit (driver's side) (See CIRCUIT INSPECTION .) (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .)
  3. Emergency call unit/telematics communication unit malfunction (Refer to [EMERGENCY CALL UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in service information.) (Refer to TELEMATICS COMMUNICATION UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.)
  4. Door-electrical supply unit (driver's side) malfunction (Refer to DOOR-ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.)
  5. Body control module (BCM) malfunction (Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
