How To Install The OM Data Into Vehicle

NOTE: How To Download The OM Data

NOTE:

To obtain OM data, please ask Mazda distributor in your region.
Download the zip file to desktop.
Unzip it and confirm two files, [contents.tar] and [contents.sig].
Copy the two files to the root of USB memory stick.
After installing the owner's manual, jot down the package number for the downloaded owner's manual data to confirm that the installation was completed correctly.

Switch the ignition ON (engine on)/main power ON (READY off) and the center display initial screen launches.
NOTE:
- Engine on is recommended if possible to avoid battery run out.

Insert the USB memory stick to the USB port.
Press the following buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds or more while pressing the VOLUME knob on the commander switch.
- FAVORITES button
- ENTERTAINMENT button

The diagnostic assist function initial screen is displayed on the center display and diagnostic assist function launches.
Select [Device Program Update] on the diagnostic assist function initial screen.

Wait for approximately 60 seconds until the installation is completed.

Installation is completed. Remove the USB memory stick from the USB port.
NOTE:
- After completing the installation, the center display screen switches automatically to the Update/Delete Owner's Manual verification screen.

Press BACK button and Device Update screen launches.

Select [End Diag Mode] on the diagnostic assist function initial screen and wait for 10 seconds or more.

Select [Information] > [Owner's Manual] and confirm OM is displayed on the center display.
Select [Options] on the owner's manual Home screen.

Confirm that the file name for the obtained zip file matches the package number.
