Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS) Control Module Inspection

NOTE:
  • The integrity of the adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module cannot be determined from a single part. When inspecting the adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module, perform the following procedure.
  1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
  2. Perform the DTC inspection for the adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module and verify if any DTCs related to the adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module is detected. (Refer to DTC INSPECTION in the service information)
    • If DTCs are detected, repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (Refer to DTC TABLE in the service information)
