Diagnostic Procedure

DRIVER-SIDE DOOR GLASS CANNOT BE OPERATED MANUALLY OR AUTOMATICALLY DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection	Results	Action
1	VERIFY ALL SYSTEM DTCs Perform the DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION .) Are any DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	INSPECT FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR FOR MALFUNCTION Visually inspect the front power window regulator for damage. (Refer to FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.) Is the part normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
2		No	Repair or replace the malfunctioning location and perform the repair completion verification 1. (Refer to FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.)
3	INSPECT POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH FOR MALFUNCTION Inspect the applicable part. (Refer to POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH INSPECTION in service information.) Is the part normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
3		No	Repair or replace the malfunctioning location and perform the repair completion verification 1. (Refer to POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.)
4	INSPECT FRONT POWER WINDOW MOTOR FOR MALFUNCTION Inspect the applicable part. (Refer to FRONT POWER WINDOW MOTOR INSPECTION in service information.) Is the part normal?	Yes	Go to the next step.
4		No	Repair or replace the malfunctioning location and perform the repair completion verification 1. (Refer to FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.)
Repair completion verification 1	VERIFY THAT VEHICLE IS REPAIRED Install/connect the part removed/disconnected during the troubleshooting procedure. Has the malfunction symptom been eliminated?	Yes	Complete the symptom troubleshooting. (Explain contents of repair to customer)
Repair completion verification 1		No	Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error. (See MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN)] .) If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1. If the malfunction is not resolved, replace the door-electrical supply unit (driver's side). (Refer to DOOR-ELECTRICAL SUPPLY UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.)
