DTC B13D3-05: Remote Transmitter Program Error

B13D3:05 (BCM) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location	Remote transmitter programming error
Detection condition	The body control module (BCM) detects the remote transmitter programming error.
Fail-safe	Not applicable
Vehicle status when DTCs are output	Not applicable
Repeatability verification procedure	Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
Inspection/action procedure	Proceed with the inspection/action in the order from Step 1 below. After part repair or replacement, perform the repeatability verification procedure and perform a DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION ) If the DTC inspection indicates the same DTC again, go to the next step. Inspect the push button start/power switch connectors and terminals. Purpose/reason (possible cause) Push button start/power switch connector or terminal malfunction Referred to service information item See CONNECTOR INSPECTION ] Inspect the body control module (BCM) connectors and terminals. Purpose/reason (possible cause) Body control module (BCM) connector or terminal malfunction Referred to service information item (See CONNECTOR INSPECTION .) NOTE: If any of the following items are touching or near the remote transmitter, signal communication between the remote transmitter and the vehicle is negatively affected, resulting in the ignition not switching ON (engine on)/main power not switching ON (READY on). Spare keys Keys for other vehicles equipped with an immobilizer system Any metallic object Any electronic device, or any credit or other card with magnetic strips Radio wave outputting device nearby Perform remote transmitter programming. Purpose/reason (possible cause) Remote transmitter programming error Referred to service information item See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING [SECURITY AND LOCKS] Replace the body control module (BCM).
