Lambda Control
The lambda control is integrated in the ECU. It monitors the input signals from the sensors, amplifies them and calculates the output signals for the electro-hydraulic actuator.
The control range of the EHA current is approximately 0-16 mA. The mean value at which control takes place is about 8 mA.
The lambda control is made inoperative by a signal from the ECU, during the following conditions: Oxygen sensor not ready for operation or defective. During deceleration shutoff. Under full load conditions. During acceleration enrichment. When starting engine at coolant temperatures below 60°F (15°C) until coolant temperature reaches 105°F (40°C).
