Fuel Distributor: Installation
- To install, reverse removal procedures. Using new sealing "O" ring, lightly lubricate and mount on fuel distributor. Install fuel distributor. DO NOT damage "O" ring when installing.
- Connect all fuel lines except injection lines. Check adjusting lever for air flow sensor and control piston in fuel distributor for easy operation. To check adjustment, remove fuel pump relay and bridge terminals 7 and 8. Turn ignition switch to "ON" position, to build up fuel pressure (check for leaks at this time).
- Push air flow sensor plate manually down. A uniform resistance should be felt across entire path. During fast upward movement no resistance should be felt, since the control piston slowly lifts from the adjusting lever.
- Install injection lines and fuel pump relay. Start engine and check complete fuel system for leaks. Adjust engine idle.
