Key Shutoff Switchover Valve

The key shutoff switchover valve is used only on 6-cylinder engines. The key shutoff switchover valve is energized by the key shut-off relay. Vacuum is present at key shutoff switchover valve. After engine is turned off, key shut-off switchover valve pneumatically operates a diaphragm on injection pump, moving control rod on injection pump to the stop position. The control rod on injection pump controls fuel flow.
