DTC Description (ETC Module Problem)

- Fault Memory & Actuation Of MIL - MIL is turned on after 2 consecutive driving cycles with fault.
- Frequency Of Testing - Continuous.
- Checked Signal Or Status - Fault in ETC module. Possible failures are Controller Area Network (CAN), inadmissible variant coding or internal memory (RAM, ROM, EEPROM).
NOTE:
Faults are recognized by the Electronic Transmission Control (ETC) module and sent to the ME-SFI control module via the Controller Area Network (CAN) data bus. The ME-SFI control module carries out fault memory and actuation of Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL). Also read out ETC fault memory, fault codes 56, 58, 59, 62, 63 and 64.
