- 6 - Indicates Vehicle Class: "V" denotes Passenger Car.
- 7 Indicates Type Of Fuel System And Number Of Valves. ("J" denotes electronic fuel injection with more than 3 valves per cyl.) ("G" denotes mechanical fuel injection with more than 3 valves per cyl.) ("6" denotes mechanical injection with 2 valves per cyl.)
- 8 Indicates Combustion Method: "G" denotes 4-cycle gasoline engine; "D" denotes 4-cycle diesel engine.
- 9 Indicates Emission Limiting Values: "K" (information is not available).
- 10 Indicates Type Of Catalyst: "E" & "F" denotes 3-way catalyst; "A" denotes oxidation catalyst; "R" denotes no catalyst.
