DTC C1140 STEERING ANGLE SENSOR: Please order the steering column jacket tube, part no. 210 462 15 23 plus color code. Modified part is an extended version of the original by approximately 2mm, blocking light seen by the steering angle sensor.

16/99-2 GROUP 46 - MODEL 210, DTC C1140: For customer complaints on model 210 with DTC C1140, steering angle sensor, please order the steering column jacket tube, part no. 210 462 15 23 plus color code (to become available end of April). The steering column cover is the piece that houses the steering angle sensor. With the steering column fully extended, light may enter and be seen by the steering angle sensor. This modified part is an extended version of the original by approximately 2mm. This improved part restricts light from entering the steering angle sensor area thereby preventing the system from being tricked into setting DTC C1140. Please use Damage Code 46220 36.
