Test 44: Sliding Sunroof Position Test

Connect Hand-Held Tester (HHT) to Data Link Connector (DLC) located in engine bay. Monitor overhead control panel control module readings. Turn ignition on. Ensure sunroof is closed; SLIDING ROOF CLOSED should be displayed on HHT. Press switch up to pop rear of sunroof up; POP-UP ROOF OPEN should be displayed on HHT. Open rear of sunroof to full up position; POP-UP ROOF END POSITION should be displayed on HHT. Press switch back to open sunroof; SLIDING ROOF OPEN should be displayed on HHT. Open sunroof fully; SLIDING ROOF END POSITION should be displayed on HHT. If readings are not as described, check condition of overhead control panel control module and power sunroof switch.
