DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE "P0446"
SERVICE INFORMATION
In the event diagnostic trouble code "P0446" is encountered when performing a DTC readout with HHT, additionally check fuel tank pressure sensor (B4/3) and purge control valve (Y58/1). Perform appropriate test steps according to Diagnostic Manual "Engines, volume 4, section 9".
It is possible for code "P0446" to be displayed due to a malfunction with the fuel tank pressure sensor (B/43) and/or purge control valve (Y58/1).
In addition to performing test steps appropriate for code "P0446", perform test steps related to codes "P0443" and "P0450" when no fault is found with the charcoal canister shut of valve (Y58/4).
