SERVICE INFORMATION

33/99-2 GROUP 40 - MODEL 220, WHEEL/TIRE SIZES AND COMAND SYSTEM: Please note that when changing wheel and tire packages on vehicles equipped with COMAND, COMAND must be recalibrated for the new wheel/tire package. If the recalibration is not performed, the accuracy of the system will be compromised. The procedure is quite simple and outlined in the COMAND manual on pages 184-185, as follows:

Select "NAVI SETTINGS"
Select "CALIBRATION"
Select "START"
Select "NEW TIRE" If the tread depth is greater than or equal to 4mm. Select "USED TIRES" If the tread depth is less than 4mm
Enter the actual tire size
