Test 20: Anti-Tow Protection Switch Activation
- Connect Hand-Held Tester (HHT) to diagnostic link connector. Activate anti-tow status indicator light using HHT. Anti-tow status indicator light should come on. Go to next step.
- Using a jumper wire, bridge terminals No. 1 and 8 at anti-theft module. Ensure anti-tow status indicator light illuminates. If anti-tow status indicator light illuminates, system is okay at this time. If anti-tow status indicator light does not illuminate, check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Check anti-tow status switch. Replace as necessary. Check anti-theft control module.
