Current Consumption

Disconnect fuel pump relay (K27). Fuel pump relay (K27) is located in right front corner of trunk. Connect a ammeter between relay sockets No. 1 and 3. Turn ignition on. Amperage should be 4-9 amps. If amperage is within specification, test is complete. If amperage is not within specification, possible cause is fuel pump defective. Repair as necessary.
