Switchover solenoid valves for front or rear axle circuit shut off the line system between wheel brakes and master cylinder during ESP control. They are designed as a pressure limiting valve at the same time and open at about 2537 psi. Brake fluid discharging through switchover solenoid valves is dampened by pressurizing piston unit and fed back into master brake cylinder through pressurizing piston.
