Test 20: VSS Sensor Status (Vehicle Standing)

Using Adapter (202 589 03 63 00), connect Breakout Box (129 589 00 21 00) to traction control module. See Figure, Figure or Figure. With engine at idle, check voltage between terminal No. 5 and 57 at breakout box. Greater than 3 volts (AC) should exist. If voltage is not as specified, check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If wiring is okay, replace appropriate traction control module.
