Switching off with switch 

Function sequence 

1. Function prerequisites:
   • Heated seat switched on, heating stage "1" or "2". One or both LED's in the heated seat switch indicate the selected heating stage.
2. Switch-off procedure has been started with the heated seat switch by pressing the corresponding switch position, heating stage "1" or "2" once.
3. The heated seat control module interrupts the circuit for the heating elements in the seat and simultaneously switches off the LED(s).

Automatic switch-off with ignition (c. 15) OFF 

Function sequence 

1. Function prerequisites
   • Heated seat switched on, heating stage "1" or "2". One/both LEDs in heated seat switch indicate(s) the heating stage selected.
2. The switch-off operation is actuated by switching off the ignition, ignition/starter or glow/starter switch position "0".
3. The heated seat control module interrupts the circuit to the heating elements in the seat and simultaneously switches off the LEDs.

Automatic switch-off after expiration of maximum heating time 

Function sequence 

1. Function prerequisites:
   • Heated seat switched on, heating stage "1". One LED burning in heated seat switch.
2. After reaching the maximum heating time of approx. 30 minutes the heated seat control module automatically starts the switch-off procedure for the heated seat.
3. The heated seat control module interrupts the circuit for the heating elements in the seat and simultaneously switches off the LED.

Automatic switch-off when battery voltage < 11 V 

Function sequence 

1. Function prerequisites:
   • Heated seat switched on, heating stage "1" or "2". One or both LED's in the heated seat switch indicate the selected heating stage.
2. Battery voltage drops to < 11 V. The heated seat control module recognizes this and switches off the heated seats automatically to protect the battery.
3. The heated seat control module interrupts the circuit for the heating elements in the seat.
4. The two LED's in the heated seat switch are actuated by the control module and indicate switch-off due to low voltage by flashing continuously.
