Transmit remote control signal, function - GF80.20-P-4010T

Model 211.0/2

The remote control key (A8/1) first transmits a radio signal and then an infrared signal (IR) when a button is pressed. The signal contains a code to verify the access authorization and a command to execute a function.

The radio transmission has a longer range.

During IR transmission, the remote control key (A8/1) must be pointed at the left front IR receiver (A26/1) or right front IR receiver (A26/2) in the door handle.

IMPORTANT The right front IR receiver (A26/2) is only installed in USA ONLY or JAPAN ONLY vehicles
