Function requirements 

• Circuit 15R On or
• Circuit 15 On
• No overvoltage or undervoltage

Function 

Per transmitter key, three positions of the left electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (M21/1) and of the right electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (M21/2) can be stored manually using the memory function.

Storage function via transmitter key only up to 30.5.05.

In addition, the outside mirror position is stored automatically after shutting down the engine (circuit 15 Off).

For manually storing an outside mirror position, a memory button 1, 2, 3 switch (S91/2s14) is present on the left front seat adjustment switch group (S91/2) as well as for starting the storage operation, the required memory switch (S91/2s9).

Before storage, set the left electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (M21/1) and right electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (M21/2) to the desired position.

Save the steering column position as follows: 

• First press memory switch (S91/2s9) and release again, then press corresponding button on the memory button 1, 2, 3 switch (S91/2s14) within 0.2 to 3 s after releasing memory switch (S91/2s9).

  or:

• First press and hold down memory switch (S91/2s9). For this purpose, press corresponding position button on the memory button 1, 2, 3 switch (S91/2s14) for t > 20 ms.

The positions of the left electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (M21/1) and right electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (M21/2) are stored in the left front door control unit (N69/1) and right front door control unit (N69/2).
