Tire Pressure Monitor Reactivation

CAUTION: The warning system can only operate in a reliable manner if correct tire pressures are set. If an incorrect tire inflation pressure is set, the system will monitor the pressure according to the incorrect value.
  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position.
  2. Ensure inflation pressure of all 4 tires is as specified on tire placard.
  3. Turn ignition switch to ON position. The standard display menu will appear in left and right multifunction displays on instrument cluster. See Fig 1.
  4. Using up or down arrow button (located on left side of multifunction steering wheel), select tire pressure monitor menu.
  5. Press reset button, located in lower center of instrument cluster.
  6. The message "Monitor current tire pressure?" or "Restart tire pressure monitor?" will appear in the speedometer display field. See Fig 2. Press the "+" button (located on right side of multifunction steering wheel).
    NOTE: Using any other button for this operation will terminate activation process.
  7. The multifunction display will now display a confirmation screen. See Fig 3.
    NOTE: If either of the following messages appear, "Reactivate tire pressure monitor" or "Tire pressure Check tires!", restart reactivation procedures.
  8. Once engine has started, the pressure value will be displayed immediately without numerical values (---).
    NOTE: If activation is carried out when engine is running, this display will be shown after a time delay of about 30 seconds.
  9. Drive vehicle for about 10 minutes. Current tire pressure will be displayed, and activation process is complete. See Fig 1.
