Injection Pump Inlet Restriction

  1. Connect pressure test kit. See Figure . Disconnect fuel inlet at injection pump. Install adapter tee (10575) in fuel line. Connect fuel line to tee. Connect tee to vacuum gauge.
  2. Run engine at 4000 RPM under no load. Vacuum should be less than 3 in. Hg. If not, check fuel lines for restrictions.
