Overboost Warning Chime Check

Start engine and warm to normal operating temperature. Remove air cleaner upper case. Push vane airflow meter completely open. If overboost chime does not come on, see CIRCUIT TEST SCG in TESTS W/CODES - EEC article. If overboost chime comes on, system is okay.
