Speed Control Does Not Disengage When Brakes Are Applied

  1. Unplug stoplight switch connector, located at brake pedal lever. Measure voltage on Green/Yellow wire at switch connector. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair Green/Yellow wire to fuse panel.
  2. Reconnect wiring to stoplight switch. Press brake pedal. Measure voltage on White/Green wire at switch connector. If battery voltage exists, go to SPEED CONTROL DOES NOT DISENGAGE WHEN CLUTCH IS RELEASED for M/T models, or SPEED CONTROL INOPERATIVE  for A/T models. If battery voltage does not exist, replace stoplight switch.
