Front Wiper/Washer Switch Test

Remove steering column cover. Unplug wiper/washer switch. Test for continuity between specified terminals with wiper switch set to positions listed in table. See FRONT WIPER/WASHER SWITCH TEST table. See Fig 1 . Replace switch if continuity is not as specified.

Remove lower steering column cover to gain access to wiper switch connector. Check for continuity between terminals listed in table at specified switch positions. See FRONT WIPER/WASHER SWITCH CONTINUITY table. See Fig 2 . If continuity is not as specified, replace wiper/washer switch.

ORG - YEL/RED Rotate INT Control Knob (1)
(1) Ohmmeter should indicate smoothly increasing resistance from 420-880 ohms (minimum) to 7000-13,000 ohms (maximum).
