Pinpoint Test C - No Keypad Switch Illumination
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect keyless entry keypad connector. Measure resistance between Pink and Black wires of keypad connector. If resistance is about 3 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is not about 3 ohms, check wires for opens. If wires are okay, replace keypad.
- Disconnect 20-pin control module connector. Disconnect keypad connector. Measure resistance of Pink wire between 20-pin connector and ground. Measure resistance of Pink wire between 20-pin connector and keypad connector. If resistance is less than 5 ohms between connectors, and more than 10,000 ohms between connector and ground, go to next step. If resistances are not correct, repair Pink wire.
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect keypad connector. Measure resistance of Black wire between connector and ground. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace control module. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair Black wire.
