Manual Lever Position Switch Test

Disconnect Manual Lever Position (MLP) switch. Connect a DVOM across Light Green wire and Light Green/Black wire. See WIRING DIAGRAM. With gear selector lever in Park or Neutral, continuity should be present between terminals. In any other gear selection, continuity should not be present. If tests have any other results, replace switch.
