Speed Control Switch Assembly: Removal
- Disconnect the battery ground cable and wait 10 minutes for the backup power supply energy to be depleted.
- Remove the air bag module bolt access cover from the right hand side of the steering wheel. See Figure .
- Remove the two speed control switch assembly screws from the steering wheel. See Figure .
- Remove the speed control switch assembly from the steering wheel. See Figure .
NOTE:
The speed control switch assembly electrical connector is mounted to the steering wheel. Gently move the speed control switch assembly up and down, while pulling it away from the side of the steering wheel, to disconnect the speed control switch assembly electrical connector.
