Fuel Indicator Module

  1. With ignition switch in OFF position and fuel pump assembly disconnected, disconnect instrument cluster connectors C1 and C2. See Fig 1 -Fig 4 . With a jumper, connect pin No. 2 of fuel indicator module to B+. See Fig 1 -Fig 4 .
  2. With another jumper, connect pin No. 3 of fuel indicator module to ground.
  3. Connect a DVOM between pin No. 5 of fuel indicator module and ground. Measure voltage on pin No. 4 of fuel indicator module. See the FUEL GAUGE READING  table. If readings are about as specified, replace instrument panel printed circuit. If readings are not as specified, replace fuel indicator module.
