Knock Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

NOTE: The Knock Sensor (KS) is located on the RH side of the cylinder block.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Raise the vehicle on a hoist.







3. Disconnect fuel charging wiring from the knock sensor.







4. Remove bolt and knock sensor from the cylinder block.







INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
