Perform visual check. See VISUAL INSPECTION .

Retrieve DTCs. See DIAGNOSTIC TEST MODE .
Erase codes and recheck for codes to repeat. See CLEARING CODES .
Perform switch monitor test. See SWITCH MONITOR TEST MODE (if necessary).
