Mechanical Components

Verify customer complaint. Visually inspect the following mechanical components of the shift lock system:

• Shift lever assembly for damage or misadjustment.
• Ignition switch/interlock cable for damage or misadjustment.
• Switches and brackets for damaged.
• Brake Pedal Position (BPP) switch.
