Speed Control Servo: Removal

- Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
- Disconnect the speed control servo electrical connector.
- Depress the connector tab.
- Disconnect the connector.
- Release the speed control cable cap.
- Depress the speed control cable cap retaining tab.
- Rotate the speed control cable cap counterclockwise and pull the cable cap away from the servo housing.
- Disconnect the speed control cable.
- Depress the spring retainer.
- Slide the core wire end out of the speed control servo pulley and disconnect the speed control actuator cable.
- Remove the speed control servo.
- Remove the nuts.
- Remove the speed control servo.
- Separate the bracket from the speed control servo.
- Remove the screws.
- Separate the bracket from the speed control servo.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
