Cable Adjustment

    NOTE: Make sure that the speed control actuator cable is not twisted or kinked.

  1. Loosen the speed control actuator cable adjusting nut and locknut.
  2. NOTE: Make sure that the throttle is completely closed.

  3. Turn the adjusting nut until it is against the accelerator cable bracket with the throttle closed.
  4. Set the speed control actuator cable adjustment.
    1. Turn the adjusting nut one-half to one full turn counterclockwise.
    2. Tighten the locknut.
