Removal and Installation

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING .
Disconnect the catalyst monitor sensor electrical connector.

NOTE: If necessary, lubricate the catalyst monitor sensor with penetrating and lock lubricant to ease removal.

Using the special tool, remove the catalyst monitor sensor.
- To install, tighten to 41 Nm (30 lb-ft).

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Apply a light coat of anti-seize lubricant to the threads of the catalyst monitor sensor.
