Drive Assembly Actuator: Notes

  1. Open the power sliding door (PSD).
  2. Open the rear quarter window.
  3. Remove the SJB fuse 11 (5A).
  4. Remove the quarter trim panel. For additional information, Refer to INTERIOR TRIM PANELS
  5. If equipped with auxiliary A/C and working on the LH side, remove the two upper air duct scrivets.

  6. If equipped with auxiliary A/C and working on the LH side, remove the three bolts and remove the lower air duct.
    • Disconnect the cable and cable clip from the center hinge.

  7. CAUTION: Do not operate the PSD drive assembly actuator with the cables disconnected or damage to the drive assembly actuator may occur.

  8. Remove the parts in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.

    To remove individual parts, only carry out the listed steps: 

    Part Steps
    LH drive assembly 1-5
    LH control module 2, 4, 6, 7
    RH drive assembly 8-11
    RH control module 11-13
  9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
