Removal And Installation

  1. Remove the 3 pin-type retainers and the upper trunk trim.
  2. Fig 1: Pin-Type Retainers

  3. Disconnect liftgate/trunk module (LTM) electrical connectors.

  5. Remove the rear seat backrest. For additional information, refer to SEATING article.
  6. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connectors.

  8. Reposition the sound insulator.

    NOTE: LTM retainer screws do not need to be removed.
  10. Loosen the LTM retainer screws.

  12. Remove the LTM.
  13. To install, reverse removal procedure.
